I filed it under my favorite crockpot recipes in my recipe organizer and I’m sure I’ll be cooking this quite a bit in the months and years to come. It takes a little bit more effort than other recipes where you basically just dump everything into the pot and turn it on, but it is well worth it. The different flavors are also a nice change from the usual chicken recipes that I’ve been cooking.  We also loved the marinade and can’t wait to try it as a grilling marinate. It should make for some great grilled chicken that would be perfect over a salad.

Did you notice I just said a “little more exercise”. So I started looking around on the Internet and saw that the “Best Value” out there bar none was the Aquasana AQ-4500 Undercounter Filter. This filter is a two-stage cartridge filter that is both Underwriters’ Laboratory rated and has received the Consumer Digest’s “Best Buy” award many years in a row. A couple of screws under the sink and a couple of connections and we were in business!  (They even had a video clip on their website for the installation but you hardly needed it and we were drinking water at 9 cents a gallon and having to change the cartridges ever 6 months instead. A great improvement!

However, there are certain dangers of using tanning beds. For one, you never know the strength of the bulbs in the particular bed you are climbing into. Some places replace there bulbs very regularly, and others wait until they completely burn out. It is a risk every time you climb into one because you go in not knowing the exact condition of the bulb.

Another risk is going into a tanning bed that is not monitored. My personal experience once was in a place that had many other things going on, such as a gym and areas where hair and nails were also done. This was my last visit to any tanning bed because I fell asleep in it and burned from head to toe. The timer was set wrong and I suffered first degree burns. These risks not only carry temporary consequences, but long term ones, too. You are subjecting yourself to the possibility of having skin cancer later in life; it also causes your skin to age faster.
