I have been a Pilates Instructor for twelve years and my favorite Pilates exercise tool, that isn’t a large piece of equipment, is the Pilates ring. Originally called the Magic Circle by Joseph Pilates, there is something magical about this simple yet effective resistance workout tool. The Pilates ring enables the user to gain resistance deep within a muscle group making workouts more intense. The squeezing action isolates certain muscle groups and activates their functionality. The ring can be used to tone and strengthen arms, chest, legs and torso by repeatedly contracting and releasing the muscles. (more…)

Is there any chance you may have over indulged and dipped into your kids Halloween bag one too many times over the past few days? (Or maybe 10 too many times?) It happens to the best of us.
